Where does my gift actually go?
Three places, in plain terms: keeping the free tier free for the smallest Black businesses (every free account is real AI cost we carry), keeping the Athenaeum — our library of strategy, news and doctrine — open to the whole diaspora without a paywall, and building the community arms: events, the campus clubs, the movement itself.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
No — and we won't pretend otherwise. Black Arcscend Inc. is a Canadian corporation, not a registered charity, so gifts are not tax-deductible donations. What you get instead is directness: no overhead layers, your gift goes straight into the mission.
Can I give by card?
Card giving is being fitted now — secure checkout on Stripe, the same rails our subscriptions run on. Until it opens, write to us and we'll arrange your gift directly: e-transfer, wire, or invoice, whatever suits you.
I run a business — is there a bigger way in?
Yes. Partnerships, sponsorships of the Dispatch and the library, and supporting a cohort of free-tier businesses in your city are all on the table. Write to us with 'Partner' in the subject line and we'll talk terms like operators.
Is there a minimum?
None. The movement is built the way Garvey built the Black Star Line — many hands, whatever each hand holds.
